THERMOMAX
The Thermomax ‘heat pipe’ system is recognised as one of the most efficient solar collectors on the market. This is due to the high efficiency condenser operating as a heat sink in the repetitive evaporation / condensation cycle of the gas within each heat pipe. The advantage over the Solamax system is a slight increase in efficiency due to the quick heat up times and the prevention of over heating due to the patented MEMOTRON technology.
Additional advantages to the ‘Heat Pipe’
• Self limitation of maximum working temperature (prevention of overheating by means of a memory metal spring which is positioned inside the heat pipes condenser).
• The “Heat-Pipe” technology ensures high heat transfer and low heat capacity.
• Absorption better than 96%, Efficiency around 80% (transfer from solar energy to usable heat).
